My love of golf started when I had to move jobs which involved moving
to a new city as well.
The guys I worked with one day came up to me and said that I would be
their 4th in a Scramble golf tournament.
Well I had never even picked up a golf club let alone understood what

It started to really bother me and I got quite anxious!
I mean don't get me wrong I enjoyed baseball, softball, basketball and
tennis growing up but knew NOTHING about Golf!
Now I Was 4th In A Scramble Golf Tournament As Well!
So I decided to pop along to the local golf club and see what it was
all about...
I met a golf professional that helped run the place and he told me that
they host beginner courses for only $25 for six group lessons - I was
in!
From the first lesson I was hooked...
The fresh air coupled with the challenge with trying to hit that TINY
ball to a target and of course the anticipation of a hole in one drove
me on (and still does...)
The day of the tournament came around...
Of course I was nervous but it did not go so bad at all!
Still I wanted more...
